Local activities and attractions
The Keauhou Surf And Racquet Club is next to one of the
premier golf courses on the island in the Kona Country Club
that features (2) 18-hole courses to choose from and is open to the
public. The Kona Country Club features the 18 hole: "Ocean
Course", and the 18 hole: "Mountain Course". The
"Kailua-Kona" area offers numerous activities, attractions, and
tours that are very near this very active side of the "Big
Island". They include: golf, bicycling, rafting, sport fishing,
night-time Manta Ray viewing, hiking, kayaking-paddling, scuba-snuba
diving, snorkeling, whale watching, horseback riding, wind surfing,
tennis (at complex), parasailing, land-sea-air adventures and tours,
nature preserves, art galleries, museums, luaus, coffee plantation,
macadamia nut farm, black sand beaches, green sand beach, telescopes
and tours to Mauna Kea, and if you want to see a real lava
flow...the "Big Island" offers that too! One of the most popular
attractions is to visit the "active lava flow site" approx.
1-1/2 to 2 hr. drive from condo, but well worth it! The "Big
Island" of Hawaii has more land area than the other islands
combined...and then some.

My
name is John and I am the current owner of this very nice,
clean, and reasonably priced vacation condo.
About my condo: It is located at the Keauhou-Kona Surf
and Racquet Club located 4.5 mi. from downtown Kailua-Kona on the
main avenue named Alii Dr. The unit is located on the bottom
floor of building # 8 (see aerial pic at left). It is a 2 bdr. 2 ba.,
1188 sq. ft., and can sleep up to 7 people with its king, double,
twin, and sofa sleeper beddings. This unit has a private
screened in lanai (patio) with a nice garden view and beautiful lawn
for you to enjoy.
Amenities: Full kitchen, washer/dryer, multiple TV's with VCR's, DVD
player, stereo with CD player, screened in lanai (patio).
Complex Features: Gated Community, Reserved tenant parking,
Oceanfront location, Large pool, (3) Lighted tennis courts,
Volleyball, BBQ area, 1/4 mile from Kahalu'u Beach Park, walking
distance to snorkeling beach, shopping, restaurants.
The
city of Kailua-Kona is on the west side of the island and offers
excellent weather conditions, clear water for scuba-snuba diving and
snorkeling, but also offers beautiful sunsets being on the "sunset"
side of the island. I take great pride in providing a "very
nice condo at a reasonable price" and want my tenants to come back
again and again.
Area shopping: There is Crossroads Shopping Center approx.
2.5 miles away with stores: Safeway, Wal-Mart, Borders, and Denny's,
and many more there, as well. COSTCO is also nearby!!
KONA-COSTCO is there!! So is Keauhou Shopping Center. Since my
condo is fully equipped... all you need is your own food!!
Kona International Airport is approximately 8 miles north from downtown
Kona and receives many non-stop flights from the mainland. Major car rental
companies are located at the airport for easy car rental services.
Below is the link to a new "virtual tour" of my condo filmed
in July, 2009. I invite you to view the tour.

I also have a posting on VRBO ad # 204401 with all new pictures
as well as a posting on Home Away ad # 244076.
I want to introduce Prince Properties, Inc. as my new property management
company. My condo had to satisfy their (Prince Properties) high standards
for acceptance as they manage only "quality" dwellings. I am
offering a very nice, clean, comfortable, safe, and very well priced dwelling
to reside in during your stay on this "truly remarkable island paradise." I
would like you to stay in my condo on your next visit and hopefully your
friends will, too. I am the sole owner of this condo and I will maintain
the quality and integrity you see in the photos and I guarantee the photos
are accurate. I believe if you want to choose one island to "do it
all," the "Big Island of Hawaii" could keep you busy for
3 or 4 weeks. It is big, it is spectacular, and it has more diversity than
any other Hawaiian island. Do some research and you should see for yourself!
Oh yes...Kailua-Kona has the best weather on the island... not to mention
the sunsets...being on the western side of the island, are very nice!
